Messages drive thoughts, which drive actions, which drive results. To get the outcome you want, many leaders start with training certain actions or behaviors to their people. But researchers at Burnham Rosen Group have discovered that it’s more effective to train people to think differently, because the right thoughts will lead to the right actions.

One way to get people to think differently is to send the right messages. Certain messages are particularly powerful with employees and other people you lead. In this episode, Jesse addresses four of those messages from a perspective that makes it very clear how these messages can impact reality: as parents sending messages to their children.

The top four messages are:

  • You are a genius.
  • You are a leader.
  • You have special gifts that the world needs.
  • I believe in you, and I’m proud of you
